I have to write about this dream because it's simply too awesome that I'll probably forget it.

So...

I'm an astronaught on a special mission to repair a wire that connects the electricity between two space stations in a ring of 5 space stations. While I was repairing the wire I got electrocuted and somehow teleported into the future.

in the future, humans are extinct - wiped out by a great nuclear war. Instead, insects have taken human's position. It was easy for them to procreate - feeding off of the wreckage that we had left behind. They are now as smart as the extinct humans and 50 times larger. Imagine -- giant cockroaches felling skyscrapers as they trample through wrecked cities.

Anywho -- when I say that humans are extinct, it is kind of a lie -- because there are still a few: these are the time-travelers. In my dream I was staying with a time-traveler. He was in the future, trying to figure out a way to prevent the war in the present. He had a special device that created a gate to travel back into the present.

I was in another room, but I saw some people come into the building looking for him, one had a pet rat on his shoulder. There was this huge argument and then a gunshot. I ran into a shed looking for the device that created the gate that would be able to teleport me back to the present.

Then I woke up.
